The Children’s Workshop in Rumford offers high quality childcare and early learning for infants, toddlers, preschool and school age children. Our spacious, developmentally appropriate classrooms provide plenty of room for learning and play. Each room was designed with our children in mind. They are never restrained by a lack of space and our teachers are able to execute any creative project they think of, large or small! Outside we have two playgrounds (one exclusively for toddlers) where the kids can play, climb, run and get their energy out. Whatever your child is involved in at TCW Rumford is sure to be a fun, learning experience!

MEET YOUR SCHOOL DIRECTOR
Hello! My name is Jessica and I am the Senior Director for The Children’s Workshop Foundation. I am also the Director for our Rumford and Beverage Hill schools. My career has always consisted of working with children. Before joining TCWF in 2019, I worked for 12 years in a pediatric behavioral health setting on an inpatient crisis stabilization unit. Although it was a stressful job, it was so rewarding to be able to provide help and support to children and families. In my current role with TCWF, I enjoy supporting my teachers and team, spending time with the kiddos, building relationships with our families, helping with planning TCWF events, and working with my school administrative team to bring new and exciting educational experiences to the children. Early childhood education has been very rewarding.
I am a Rhode Island native and graduate of Salve Regina University, where I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a nursing concentration. I am fluent in English and Spanish. The passion that fuels me every day is working with children. I love to watch them grow and learn, becoming critical thinkers and problem solvers. As the Director I oversee administration, programming, and the day-to-day at Rumford and Beverage Hill, but you will also catch me in the classrooms and playgrounds playing with the kiddos! I love spending time building and nurturing relationships with them!
I love to spend my free time with my husband and our blended family, our yorkie Winston, and our friends. I love 90s music, cooking, going to the beach, bike riding, and trying new DIY projects around our home. I am a hands-on learner and hope that we bring a hands-on learning experience to the children at TCWF!
